Nga tohu Huarere Mo Apopo.

This week I have been learning  to say what the weather is in Reo Maori.
I picked 5 rohe from the map and described the huarere.
I chose...
Ki Mawhera he paki.
Ki Otautahi ka heke te ua.
Ki Tauranga ka whiti te ra.
Ki Otepoti ka puta te kapun.
Ki Taupo he hukapapa.

Check out me sharing the weather forecast on Ata Hapara TV.

What I enjoy in this work is writing  and recording and saying the words about the weather to my friend. What  is the Maori word weather or what is the Maori word for sun.

  1. Kia ora Aukaha, ka rawe. I really liked how you engaged with the camera. Could you try some different rohe?
    Ka pai koe.
