Tuhaitara

Today I learned about a women called Tuhaitara.

So today I learned about Tuhaitara.  Tuhaitara, and Ngāi Tahu daughter/princess told her oldest son, Tamarairoa to kill her old husband Marukore. But Marukore new his son’s plans and when Tamarairoa and his little brother arrived Marukore killed both of them and burn their bodies on a huge fire and they died.

And this is one about Tahupotiki.

All the major lines  going down of Ngāi Tahu stem from Tahupotiki. This whakapapa  shows the names of two important sub-tribes of Ngāi Tahu – Ngāi Tuhaitara of North Canterbury and Ngāti Kurī of Kaikōura. The ancestors who gave their names to the groups were cousins.

Thank you for reading my blog it was hard but i did it any questions???
